Automechanica Brazil 2025: South America’s Largest Auto Parts Show Concludes Successfully
São Paulo, Brazil – April 26, 2025 – The 16th edition of Automec (Automechanica Brazil), Latin America’s premier automotive aftermarket exhibition, wrapped up at the São Paulo Expo Centre after five days of vibrant industry engagement.
Hosted biennially, the 2025 show set new records, gathering 1,500+ brands from 27 countries across 105,000 sq.m. of exhibition space. It attracted 90,000+ professional visitors and facilitated over 220,000 business connections, signaling strong market demand. International participation rose by 20% compared to the last edition, with prominent delegations from China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, and Turkey.
Chinese firms, around 450 in total, formed one of the largest international groups, showcasing components, repair equipment, and electronic systems. The event served as a critical platform for tapping Brazil’s robust aftermarket, driven by a large fleet of aging vehicles and rising demand for cost-effective parts.
Beyond exhibits, the conference featured 100+ hours of technical seminars and training sessions, addressing industry trends like electrification and smart repair solutions.
Automec 2025 reinforced its role as a gateway to Latin America’s automotive market. The next edition is scheduled for April 20–24, 2027, in São Paulo.
